How Rally lists events

Some events in Rally were found by us, not posted by a person. They are marked Found by Rally. Here is how they get there and how to get one taken down.

Where they come from

  • Official event APIs and public calendar feeds that sites publish for exactly this.
  • Public event pages that are open to anyone and allow automated readers.
  • Lineups that venues send us themselves.

We do not read social networks or ticket marketplaces that forbid it, and we never get around a login or a bot check. Details are on the event fetcher page.

What we show

The name, the time, the place and a link back to your page. Never your description, photos or logo. A found event never claims that anyone is going, and we never make up a crowd.

On the web

Our town pages (letsrallytonight.com/in/ and a town's name) show what is listed in a town this week. Each card names who listed it and when we checked. To open the original listing from a town page, you join the waiting list first with your email, and nothing else is collected. The same removal promise below covers the web pages. SeatGeek listings are not on them.

Remove an event, or your place, in a day

Email letsrallytonight@gmail.com with the event or venue and a link. You can ask for:

  • One event to come down.
  • Your whole venue to be left out of found events.
  • Your whole website to be left alone by our fetcher.

We promise to act within a day, and we will write back when it is done. Ticket listings that come from Ticketmaster are removed on request too.

Want it to be right instead?

Venues can claim their place on Rally for free and run their own events. For venues.
